SCGOPHCG Hospital Library's limited service availability during festive season - 20th December 2024 to 6th January 2025

We librarians would like to wish everyone a safe Christmas and New Year festive period. 
Thanks to all our colleagues who will continue providing specialised and selfless service during the festive season.
Staff have 24/7 access to the physical library space through swipe card authorization and subscribed electronic resources onsite and offsite. 
From 20th December 2024 to 6th January 2025 you can send us your queries and requests, but please be aware that all requests will gradually be processed from 6th January 2025 onwards.

You can set-up SCGOPHCG Hospital library link in Google Scholar by:

  • Selecting the Google Scholar menu (located in the top-left hand corner of the screen) 
  • Choosing Settings

  • Searching for and adding Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Library you have a membership with.

  • Use your WA Health username (HE number) and password to log in.
    NOTE: You must activate your password onsite before you can access resources via login.
  • Students enrolled in hospital-based courses should use the login provided for the course.

20-minutes demonstration on how ClinicalKey can support JMOs in:
• Surviving as a JMO
• Finding a quick answer
• Informing a treatment plan for a patient
• Learning and research purposes

♦  18th March 11:00 am in Perth - Getting the most out of ClinicalKey Register to attend live or for a link to the recording
20 minutes session will provide you with an overview on how to get the most out of ClinicalKey. The session will support Clinicians, Students, Educators and Administrators

• Finding a Quick Answer
• Content Overview – eBooks, Journals, Clinical Overviews, AMH Drug Monographs, procedure videos and more

♦  19th March 11:00 am in Perth - Graduate Nurses: Getting answers quickly using ClinicalKey and ClinicalKey for Nursing Register to attend live or for a link to the recording
20 minutes session will provide you with an overview on how to get the most out of ClinicalKey. The session will support Nurses, clinical teams, Students, Educators and Administrators
