Event Description

Join us for the Annual Open Forum of the WA Node of the HeSANDA Program (Health Studies Australian National Data Asset Program).  Around the world, research is evolving towards a culture where data sharing is the norm.  But what does this mean for researchers, institutions, and consumers?

At this interactive forum, you'll hear from experts, researchers, and consumers sharing their perspectives and experiences on health data sharing.  You'll also have the opportunity to shape the conversation by identifying key challenges and benefits as we move towards this transformation in research culture.

This is an in-person event.  The Forum starts at 4pm followed by a networking sundowner at 5.15pm.

Our keynote speaker, Dr Lisa Eckstein, CT:IQ Program Director, will be joined by a distinguished panel including clinician researcher Dr Matt Anstey, HeSANDA Consumer Representative Ms Jane Barker, and leading academics: Prof Chris Reid (Curtin), Prof Romola Bucks (UWA), and Prof Margaret Jones (ECU).

Who Should Attend?
This open forum welcomes the WA health research community - including researchers, research administrators, directors, data custodians, consumers, clinical trialists, and clinicians - anyone interested in unlocking the full potential of health research data.
