The Department of Research, funded by Charlies Foundation for Research, are excited to announce the release of a Research Publication Grant program to support funding of research publications.

The Research Publication Grant program is designed to support researchers who have conducted research at a SCGH or OPH site and supports the publication of research in academic journals. This funding is targeted for early to mid-career researchers up to 10 years postgraduate employment (excluding career breaks). Due to the nature of the funds the following eligibility criteria are required:

  • Only SCGOPHCG research projects can be supported.
  • You will need to provide a valid Research Governance Service (RGS) number.
  • You will need to pay the publication fee and then request reimbursement by providing a receipt of payment with researcher’s name. Evidence / proof of payment up front is required.
  • Any gaps in costs of the publication need to be self-funded by the researcher.
  • SCGOPHCG researchers should be the first or last author and/or the corresponding author (senior author) on the paper.
  • You will need to ensure that ‘SCGOPHCG' is listed as an affiliation.
  • If funding is approved prior to publication, then the article must acknowledge the funding support from the Charlies Foundation for Research.
  • Only 1 application will be funded per researcher.
